Art Wall

This is a really simple project, you just have the kids use watercolors on watercolor paper that you can find here. You really want to use Watercolor papers because it’s nice and thick!

Next, I took a picture of each child in black and white and cut out their bodies. Then the kids glued their bodies to their watercolor paintings and then I added each child’s name to the bottom of their picture.

They all did a beautiful job choosing colors they love and I really love how each print is just as unique as each child!

Making Meal Time Fun!

Since I’ve been doing licensed childcare since 1999 you can imagine how many meals I’ve made over the years! Crazy to even think about it! I wanted to try to implement new fun ways to serve the kids I have! I found these adorable Stainless Steel Lunch Trays that I just love!

If you’re in a meal time rut, like we all get in from time to time I’d encourage you to take a look at some of the things I’ve been serving – you might just get some inspiration!

Fall Refresh for 2022

If you’re like me, the last couple of years dealing with COVID have been exhausting! Luckily I didn’t ever contract it; but all the extra cleaning, disinfecting, tracking illnesses of kids, testing, testing and more testing – it was exhausting!

I found myself in a bit of a rut! I just could not find my energy and so I decided a little refresh of the playroom was in order to see if that helped me gear up for a new group of kids in the fall!

Well, I’m happy to say it’s working! I found my enthusiasm once again! Take a peek at a few of my changes I made in the playroom!
